we used to play astronauts and all as an instrumental thing. a long time ago. but then we recorded it and released it now we... er, can't listen to it without being sick in our mouths, let alone play it. dearth is a weird one and i wish we did play it. as for the others, we might play them in the future, i don't think we were ever really happy with how we played them though, and, you know, it's all rather murky water under the bridge.
honestly, i think we have written better new songs than all of those, and so our focus over the next year is going to be on playing them.

did you personally (or perhaps as a group) think you'd get to this level - or indeed any sort - of popularity or did you think you'd fail as a band
for the first six months when i was in the band i was mostly concerned with paying my rent, and after that stopped happening i was mostly concerned with having a pair of shoes that weren't rotting, so... can i say neither of the above? none of us expected to have any sort of pop success, but... i mean, we like ourselves, so we didn't expect to fail, whatever that means. does it mean get dropped? we didn't expect to get dropped. we didn't really expect to get signed. but we would have carried on playing regardless. it wasn't like we had anything else to do.

have you ever played in high wycombe?

anywhere and everywhere. friends, shops, ebay. hugely glamorous, right?
