Grizzly Bear + Cathedral = W.O.W

Image

They played everything I wanted to hear, Colorado was beautiful
I was also fascinated by the jar lights (I now want some)
Only downside was we had to dash for the last train and missed two songs, one of which was 'He Hit Me' (crystals covers ftw)

^ Really looks like a sweet venue for a gig!

Also, that's a really, really sexy bass, anyone know what it is? Dov?

that gig was truly amazing. it was great to see the staunches again, too!

the last song they played was all we ask (acoustic, ed wasn't even near the microphone, just used the acoustics of the building), here's a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ol54mjSJygk
the guy next to me was filming the whole show, but they are not up on youtube yet.

I am incredibly jealous. I didn't get to see them play with the London Symphony Orchestra at Barbican Hall on Halloween, either.
