Doing this because most threads i post about new bands sink like a St Bernard.

I'm mad fapping over Deradoorian, obv known from Dirty Projectors. I cant stand Dave's voice so listening to them is always a struggle..massively pleased with Angel doing solo stuff. Check her EP "Mind Raft"

Japandroids, also. Their debut is hot, have a listen if you like No Age, i may be way off but they remind me of them. Listen to Heart Sweats for a taster

-Japandroids - MEGA HOT. Anthemic brilliance.
-Cymbals Eat Guitars - bit like Modest Mouse/Pavement

Definitely do. It's a definitive American-indie album. It reminds me of Arcade Fire in places too, which is only a good thing.

Recently I started to like:

Faunts: new album is amazing!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrSzBkgfb-U

Maths Class: experimental, math rock, quite promising.
Looking forward to an album.

Pivot: great instrumental band from Australia. Very good synth!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HK0eCViLgow

Clues: indie rock from Canada.

Delphic: Manchester band. They write electronic music then they play it with a full band set-up. Counterpoint is a great song.

Data Select Party.. Although the singer's voice can be a bit annoying. Sound similar to Foals, obviously just not as good..

Anyone liking the new Kasabian stuff? I'm kind of taken... Just wanted to see if anyone else was feeling it too (I've heard previews of the rest of the album as well and it's super psychodelic).

Besides the fact they're just awful, anyone who hasn't progressed at all in like 5 albums is awful by principle... First album is actually creditable.

They've had 5 albums  I stopped listening after the first until NME hyped up the 21st Century Letdown.
